The Dog Whisperer!!

Victoria loves all the animals, yet they are not as fond of her as she is of them. Mainly because once she gets ahold of them, she doesn't like to let go!LOL Anyways, the otherday Laney, Sydney and Swisher were all sitting outside the door and Victoria wanted to have a chat with them. This is what I found her doing!! Don't you love the stick!!! LOLL

Walking up storm!!

For the past couple weeks Victoria has been walking as much as she can. Of course since she is only 8 months old still, she walks with the help of objects- couches, walkers, mommy, daddy and of course a huge empty box of diapers!! Who knew that a baby walker could be so cheap!!! LOL

San Diego

Bryan, Victoria and I made a trip down to sunny San Diego a few weeks ago. We decided it would be cheaper to drive but of course alot longer. We broke up the drive down into 2 parts. We drove to the grape vine and stayed the night. Then drove the rest of the way in the morning. It was great!!! The drive home was a different story. It took us 10 1/2 hours and 5 stops but we made it!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures!!!

In the morning I set her in her bumbo to feed her. When I turned around this is what she did. She thinks it's so funny to pull covers over her.







In SD, we went to Sea World. Well, one of the dolphins thought we needed to get wet and soaked us! Tori thought it was funny!!
















No we did not go to the horse races! LOL We were strolling around Coronado Island.

On the way home, it took lots of singing and entertaining but we finally got her to sleep.

Victoria is obsessed with her tv remote. This is her very own. As you can see, it is bigger than her head! I don't know how that girl lifts things!!!

The other day I needed to get some chores done around the house and didn't want to put on the bojorn. So instead I did the sling. As you can see, Victoria had an awesome time chillin!!! She looks like a little mummy in there!!

My 1st pool!!

While at the store I came across a cute kids pool. It was only $10.00 so how could I pass it up. When can you get a pool for $10.00. Most people pay thousands ;) Anyways, Bryan and I blew it up and put Victoria in it. She had so much fun! We had to take turns sitting in it with her because we all pruned up!! She was in there for an hour!! My little fish!

Summer fun!!

It seems like time is just flying by. Recently I finished school and Victoria and I have been busy everyday. We took a trip to Monterey with my family but stayed with Bryan's family. It was Victoria's first time touching ocean water. It was so cold she jumped a little. She did also get her first sunburn since mommy forgot to put sunscreen on her arms after I took off her sweater. We have been swimming a lot over at my mom's house and Victoria seems to fall asleep in the water. It is very relaxing for her. She has been crawling for the past month. Well, it's more of an army crawl but it's still moving. Just the other day she finally sat up without having to lean forward or falling over. It is amazing how just an hour before that she couldn't do it and then all the sudden she just got it!! Today we set up her piano for her and stood her up to play it! She balanced there for a couple minutes. I am sure walking will be in our future before the year is up!!!

At our last doctor's visit (6months) she was in the 95% of height and 70% of weight. She is a tall girl like her daddy!!
